The problem

Aquarium apps are still stuck in spreadsheets

  • Trying to remember when you last cleaned the filter
  • Looking up fish compatibility at the store
  • Slow, repetitive, and easy to ignore

There's a better way.

Why I built this

I'm Matthias, and I built TankSnap because aquarium apps frustrated me more than they helped.

Every app I tried wanted me to manually type in water values, navigate through endless menus, or learn some overcomplicated system just to track my tanks. I wanted something that just works: see something, snap it, done. So I built it myself.
